Information Security Officer

Information Security Officer (ISO) is a managerial role. ISOs are responsible for Information Security Management, mostly in a corporate environment. Their duties include implementing and overseeing security policies, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) protocols, assuring the security of highly sensitive and private data. They are also often responsible for evaluating and deciding on new hires in the IT and security teams.
